About Congeal
Work used to start with a clear beginning. But when that clarity vanished, many of us just pushed on — quietly frustrated, always hunting, and never quite settled.
Where did our start page go?
Before modern collaboration tools, many of us had a simple start page—a personal workspace that held the things we needed every day. Priorities, links, notes, and reference material were visible and stable. You opened it in the morning and immediately knew where you stood.
As chat-based tools took over, that starting point quietly disappeared.

When Information Lost Its Place
Tools like Slack and Microsoft Teams dramatically improved communication. But when chat feeds became a place to store important information, something broke. Links got buried. Notes slid down timelines. Finding anything meant scrolling, searching, or remembering who to ask.
People re-asked questions, rebuilt private note systems, and carried unfinished thoughts around all day.
The workday became irritating and disorienting.

A Personal Fix That Grew
We experienced this ourselves, and we knew there had to be a better way. Congeal began as a personal attempt to fix that. A modern start page—simple, secure, and intentionally limited—built to restore orientation at the beginning of the day. The effect was immediate: clarity returned, procrastination dropped, and work felt calmer again.
When others experienced the same relief, Congeal grew into a shared workspace—one that supports collaboration without replacing structure.
